This is the site developed by Rose Walton for Mike L. Walton, a longtime award-winning Scouting leader and coach;
a military officer whom have been on active duty and in both of the Army's Reserve components; a writer; an entertaining and highly motivational public speaker.
A person that feels that everyone should be given an opportunity to live, grow and develop into the best possible person he or she can be. A husband, father,
teacher, coach, helper. Settummanque, the blackeagle.
Much of what you will read and see here comes about through Mike Walton's vast Scouting knowledge, research and experiences gained over a 30-year-plus period
and personal reflections based upon "being there, doing it" rather than "reading it, talking about it".
Please note his disclaimer information. It applies to all areas of this site. Pay particular attention to the anti-spamming parts.
This site last updated on 25 July 2007; some pages and subwebs have been updated more recently than this date. Please excuse the many broken links you may encounter; the entire website is being
redesigned while I am in Iraq. Some days I will be able to have access to update and upload new pages and content; other days, I will be blocked and restricted from doing so. I ask for your
patience while the entire site is being re-engineered from top to bottom. If there is something you enjoyed and I moved or deleted it, please post me at kyblkeagle@aol.com and let me know.
Thanks to America Online™ and Pixius™ for allowing some of this information on their sites; and a special thanks to the many people whom have contributed by asking questions,
providing information, or offering advice. This is much your site as it is Mike's!
