As you will see, the majority of these segments have in common the red or black border color. A couple of these segments were created for special versions of national Boy Scouting activities and events and some segments could also be used for Cub Scouting or Exploring events and activities, thereby "extending the life of the segment".
The ones in which I've earned appear with a green background; the ones that I've collected over the past ten years appear with a red background:
