Cubmaster Award
Description: Uniform emblem is composed of a light blue square knot on a
yellow background and border color. The colors blue and gold are the colors
of Cub Scouting, and the blue knot is symbolic of the uniform all Cub Scouts and
WEBELOS Cub Scouts initially wear (this is old; many WEBELOS Cub Scouts now wear
the khaki-tan "universal" uniform).

Application for Cubmaster (Training) Award
Background: The Cubmaster Award is earned by Cubmasters
(and may be worked on by their Assistants) after completing two years of
service (one of which can be as an Assistant Cubmaster), completing the Cub Scout
Basic training course and attendance at a Pow-Wow, and the Pack's earning the
Quality Unit Award twice during the three year period and earning once the
National Summertime Pack Award. This award has been discontinued; Cubmasters should work toward and meet the requirements for the Unit Leader
Award of Merit and the Scouters' Key Award as a Cubmaster.
